Dining in Atlanta

The amount of restaurants in Atlanta is impressive. It is possible to get everything from a very fine dining experience to a more rustic roadside diner. Chitlins, grits and collard greens are available in Atlanta but they are not the norm.

The Abbey

Bone's steakhouse serves substantial and good food with a clubby atmosphere. Good beef, good wine, fried onions rings, lobster bisque and a pecan pie close to perfection are the stars. Reservations are essential.

Flying Biscuit
Huge biscuits, black bean cakes, organic oatmeal pancakes and turkey meatloaf are staples at this eating place. Crowded and hectic, there is always a queue and no reservations are taken. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served Tuesdays to Sundays. The Flying Biscuit has several locations through out the city.
